Pearl Jeanette Sundquist was born to parents Herman and Cora (Olson) Sundquist on November 5, 1918, in Sacred Heart Township.  She was baptized and confirmed at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart, MN.  She attended country school and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1936 and St. Cloud State Teacher’s College in 1938. Pearl continued to live on the farm after Harold’s death until she moved to Johnson Memorial Care Center in Dawson, MN in January 2020.

Pearl was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyd where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School, bible study, Circle, quilting, and other activities. Pearl and Harold liked to travel and spent their winters in Winter Haven, Florida where they attended Boston Red Sox baseball games. Pearl enjoyed bird watching, gardening, and reading. She avidly followed the Twins, Gophers, and Timberwolves, and loved spending time with her granddaughters and great-grandchildren.

Pearl passed away at the Johnson Memorial Care Center in Dawson, MN, on Monday, October 3rd, 2022, at the age of 103 years and 11 months.
