Leslie Wayne Craig

Leslie Wayne Craig was born on December 17, 1931, in Clarkfield, MN, to parents, Benjamin and Inez (Ferguson) Craig. He graduated from Clarkfield High School in 1949 before enlisting in the United States Navy, serving during the Korean War. Les was very proud of his military service and volunteered for the Granite Falls American Legion Honor Guard. He spent 40 years as a diesel mechanic for Cummins Diesel Sales. Les passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, at the Avera Granite Falls Hospital, having reached the age of 94. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sharon (O’Brien) Craig; children, Benjamin and Leslie (Tom Burback) Craig; grandchildren, Justin, Michael, and Rachel. He is preceded in death by his son, Michael Craig.  A private Celebration of Life will be held by the family later this year.
