Arda Carol (Aasen) Berg

Arda Berg died on Friday, October 3, 2025, at her home in Plymouth, MN, six months after her 100th birthday.  Born in Clarkfield, MN, on April 4, 1925, she witnessed a century of changes. She married Arthur Berg in 1946 and had a happy marriage and family, and together they built a successful farming operation.

Art and Arda retired and moved from their farm in Clarkfield to Willmar in 1976 and, after Art’s death in 1989, she eventually moved to Minnetonka. Their farm afforded them both a comfortable retirement, and for Arda, a comfortable lifestyle including travel for 36 more years. She was blessed her entire life with good health and with many who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Berg; daughter, Susan O’Connor; son, Brent, and she was the last surviving member of her generation in a large, extended family.  She is survived by her son, Lynn Berg and granddaughter, Jenna Odegard and their extended families.

A memorial service will be held at Bradshaw Funeral home at 3131 Minnehaha Ave S, Minneapolis on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM.

An additional memorial service will be held at the J.H. Lynner Funeral Home in Clarkfield on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Interment to follow the service in Israel Lutheran Cemetery, rural Clarkfield.
