William C. Zethraus was born on August 19, 1915, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to parents Andrew and Ella (Bjur) Zethraus. He passed away on June 13, 1999, at Hinsdale Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, at the age of 83 years, 9 months, and 26 days. William was united in marriage to Delores Isaacs at the Hazel Run Lutheran Church, Hazel Run, Minnesota. In 1959 they moved to California and lived in the Los Angeles area where William was in the metal stamping business. Following his retirement, they moved to Palm Desert, California, and in 1997 to Chicago, Illinois, to be near their daughter. William is survived by his son William (Bill) (and Barbara) Zethraus of Victorville, California; daughter Pamela (and Thomas) Trankina of Western Springs, Illinois; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister Gladys Iverson; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter Katheryn; wife Delores in 1998; and brothers Stanley and Burtrand. Blessed be his memory.
