William Henry Feist was born November 19, 1892, to Mikel and Lena Feist. He was baptized in Hinton, Iowa and confirmed at Hazel Run Lutheran Church. Bill was united in marriage to Tille C. Lee. He farmed for a number of years, worked on the railroad and for AMPI. William passed away January 22, 1993, at the Clarkfield Care Center at the age of 100. William H. Feist is survived by his children, Lucille Feist of Willmar; Mrs. Oscar (Gretchen) Dotseth of Anoka; Mrs. Leo (Gloria) Olson of Clarkfield; William Feist, Jr. of St. Cloud; James Feist of Omaha, Nebraska; Darlene Christopherson of Minneapolis; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and one sister Rose Carter of Alexandria. He was preceded in death by his wife Tillie, daughter Delores, son Gerald, two sisters, three brothers and his parents.
