Obituary

William "Bill" Reishus, son of Knute and Annetta (Miller) Reishus was born on August 12, 1903, in Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. He was baptized and later confirmed in St. Lucas Lutheran Church by Rev. Romstad. He served in the armed forces during the Second World War and since has been active in the American Legion. For many years, Mr. Reishus worked for the Cottonwood Co-op Oil Company and fertilizer plant. He passed away May 25, 1978, at the age of 74 years in Cottonwood, Minnesota. Surviving are four brothers: Norman and Martin of Cottonwood, Stanley of Mesa, Arizona, and Franklin of Rapid City, South Dakota; two sisters: Myrtle (Mrs. Nuel Olson) and Vivian (Mrs. Kurt Wendschuh) of Cottonwood; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers: Orville, Clarence, Alfred and Howard.
