William Fredrick Lachelt was born March 9, 1893, in Tyro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, the son of William Lachelt and Augusta (Loose) Lachelt. He passed away December 17, 1957, at the Clarkfield Community Hospital, Clarkfield, Minnesota, at the age of 64 years. Mr. Lachelt was taken suddenly ill Tuesday evening while doing chores and was rushed to the Clarkfield Hospital, where he passed away about an hour after his admittance. He is survived by is widow the former Ida Kopitzke; two daughters, DeLilah (Mrs. Edwin Macht) of Boyd, Minnesota, and Verdell, at home; four brothers: John, Louie, Leo and Otto; and three sisters: Mrs. Olga Ludwigson, Clara (Mrs. Ed Werner), and Louise (Mrs. Theodore Werth).
