William (Bill) John Dirckx was born on October 25, 1941, at Ivanhoe, Minnesota, to parents Joseph and Agnes (Lens) Dirckx. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith. Bill graduated from Lynd High School at Lynd, Minnesota. Bill and Barbara Paul were married on November 9, 1963, in Tracy, Minnesota. They were blessed with three children: Dawn, Mike, and Pamela. Bill and Barb lived in Clarkfield with Bill working as a Milk Runner at AMPI in Dawson, Minnesota. He enjoyed going to the races, watching professional wrestling and being with his family. William passed away on Friday evening, April 4, 2003, at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dawson at the age of 61 years, 5 months and 10 days. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Clarkfield; and his children: Dawn (Alan) Winters of Montevideo, Minnesota, Michael (Lori) Dirckx of Audubon, Minnesota, and Pamela Dirckx (Brad Buchmann) of Montevideo, Minnesota. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two brothers: Dennis Dirckx of Pennsylvania and Gary (Jean) Dirckx of Battle Lake, Minnesota; two sisters: Kathy (Jim) Hively of Balaton, Minnesota, and Barbara (Cecil) Claeys of Owatonna, Minnesota; his mother-in-law; brothers and sisters-in-law; and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one sister. Blessed be his memory.
