Wilhelm Carl Arnold Lund, age 92, died September 11, 2000, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Born in Clarkfield, Minnesota, he was a former resident of St. Peter, Minnesota and Pine River, Minnesota, before relocating to Minneapolis in 1987. During his life, he farmed, managed grain elevators and retired from the State Mental Hospital in St. Peter, Minnesota, in 1973. A lifelong devout Lutheran, Mr. Lund was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mr. Lund was the widower of his loving wife of 60 years, Eveline A. Lund. He is survived by five devoted children: Carol Lund of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Christine Oilman of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, Luther Lund of Seattle, Washington, Camilla Rivard of Hertford, North Carolina, and Samuel Lund of Marlton, New Jersey; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. The youngest of 11 children, Bill Lund was preceded in death by his parents, Samson J. Lund and Hannah Korslund Lund; and all of his siblings: Oleva Lund Payne, Joseph Lund, George Lund, Sarah Lund Haaland, Julia Lund Johnson, Clarence Lund, Edwin Lund, Oleanna Lund Miller, Hendrik Lund, and Peder Lund.
