Warren E. Bode was born July 18, 1959, to parents Donald L. and Helen C. (Nodshilder) Bode at Rapid City, South Dakota. He was baptized as a young child and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church of Boyd, Minnesota. He attended Dawson-Boyd High School and graduated in 1977. Following high school, he attended Vo-Tech School in Granite Falls, Minnesota, for two years studying Auto Body. Warren married Kimberli K. Schoep in 1979 at the Rosewood Methodist Church of rural Montevideo, Minnesota. They were the parents of two sons: Joshua and Nathan. The family lived in the Ivanhoe, Minnesota, and Wilno, South Dakota, areas for a short time, where Warren worked at an auto body shop. They then moved to Mound, Minnesota, where he worked in Auto Body and also was a claims adjuster for his company and others. Warren moved back to Bellingham, Minnesota, and Madison, Minnesota, about nine years ago and was living there at the time of his death. He was active in Boy Scouts with his sons. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, and had a 'love of cars'. Warren passed away on Thursday, January 12th, 2006, at the Divine Providence Hospital in Ivanhoe, Minnesota, due to a heart attack, at the age of 46 years, 5 months, and 25 days. He is survived by his sons: Josh (and Sara) Bode of Maple Plain, Minnesota, and Nathan Bode of Mound, Minnesota. He is also survived by his mother, Helen Bode, of Marietta, Minnesota, and siblings: Clarice Anspach of Madison Minnesota, Donna Hanson Piipke (and Daryl Piipke) of Elk River, Minnesota, Sylvan Bode of Phoenix, Arizona, and Tammy (and Rick) Kruse of Revillo, South Dakota. Also surviving is his former wife Kimberli Heller of Mound, Minnesota, and mother-in-law Darlene Schoep of Spring Park, Minnesota, and aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Bode, father-in-law, Jasper Schoep, brother-in-law Douglas Hanson, uncle Thorvald Nodshilder, and his dog "McKoo". Blessed be his memory.
