Walter LeRoy Haroldson was born March 20, 1910, Swede Prairie Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, to parents Carl and Emma (Paulson) Haroldson. He was baptized and confirmed at Swede Home Church of Swede Prairie Township. He attended school in Swede Prairie Township and farmed until he retired. Walter, a resident of Minneota, Minnesota, died Tuesday morning, October 9, 1979, at the Community Hospital, Hutchinson, Minnesota, at the age of 69. Walter is survived by three sisters: Helen Hanson of Mankato, Minnesota, Ethel Culbertson of Hutchinson, Minnesota, and Agnes of Clarkfield, Minnesota; six brothers: Fredolph of San Pablo, California, Harold and Clarence of Minneota, Minnesota, Emmitt and Ragner of Hutchinson, Minnesota, and Herbert of Franklin, Minnesota.
