Walter Allchin was born March 25, 1894, in Onawa, Iowa to John Allchin & Mary (Bohmler) Allchin. He was married to Agnes Hildagard Seagrin in 1914 in Salix, Iowa, and they made their home around the Hanley Falls community since 1916. He passed away March 11, 1955, at the Granite Falls Hospital, Granite Falls, Minnesota, at the age of 60 years. Mr. Allchin is survived by his wife, Agnes; son, Archie; daughters, Hazel (Mrs. Myron Martin) and Helen Stevens.
