Funeral Services for Wallace W. Larson were held August 24, 1983, 2:00p.m., at Spring Creek Lutheran Church, Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, with Pastor Ted Kunze Officiating. Organist was Ella Larson. Soloists were Mrs. Oren Christensen, Gustav Haaland and Mavis Ellingson. The congregational hymn was "Beautiful Savior." Casket Bearers were Lyman Ellingson, Kenneth Elllingson and Gary Ellingson of Hanley Falls, Minnesota, Dale Ellingson of Algona, Iowa, Vernon Ellingson of Wood Lake, Minnesota, and Bruce Tusberg of Nisland, South Dakota. Members of the Church were Honorary Casket Bearers. Wallace was born September 24, 1904, to Theodore and Annie (Dotseth) Larson at Jasper, Minnesota. He was baptised at the United Norwegian Church of Jasper by Rev. J.D. Swalesteun. At the age of three, he moved with his parents to the Clarkfield, Minnesota area, where he received his education at Spring Creek Parochial and at the Public School in Clarkfield. He was married to Esther Thostenson on May 4, 1938, by Rev. Alf W. Jorgenson in Hanley Falls, Minnesota. He served as custodian in Spring Creek Church for 38 years and worked as a mechanic for 42 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Esther, two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, one niece, five nephews and many relatives and friends. IN MEMORY OF WALLACE W.
