Violet "Vi" (Doose) Anderson August 25, 1929 ~ May 6, 2015 Violet Lorraine Doose Anderson, age 85 of Boyd, passed away peacefully at Chippewa County- Montevideo Hospital on Wednesday, May 6, 2015. Violet was born on August 25, 1929, to John and Pearl (Erickson) Doose in Posen Township, Wood Lake, Minnesota. She was baptized on September 15, 1929, at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Wood Lake, Minnesota, and confirmed May 9, 1943, also at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Wood Lake. Virgil J. Anderson and Violet L. Doose were united in marriage February 1, 1948, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Boyd, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with two children: Janice and Wayne. She was a member of Boyd American Legion Auxiliary, Trinity Lutheran Church and Women's Organization. Violet is survived by her husband Virgil of 67 years, and their two children and families: Janice (Ed) Sachariason of Montevideo and Wayne (Lamom) Anderson of Boyd. Six grandchildren: Jason (Diane) Sachariason, Scott (Jodene) Sachariason, Kristi (Aaron) Enevoldsen and Kelly Sachariason all of Montevideo; Shawn (Molly) Anderson of Mankato and Sheila Anderson of Minneapolis. Eight great grandchildren: Austin, Alli and Luke Sachariason, Reyna Sachariason, Dalton and Oliver Enevoldsen, Jada and Hannah Anderson. Sisters: Arlene (Merle) Hahn of Boyd, LuVonne Priebe of Benson and brother, Gordon (Cheryl) of Alexandria. Nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Pearl Doose; brothers: Charles and John Doose; sister, Shirley Shogren; three nieces and one nephew. Blessed be her memory!
