Vincent L. Erickson was born to parents Virgil and Alvilda (Anderson) Erickson at Clarkfield, Minnesota, on December 15, 1942. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran church of Boyd, Minnesota. Vincie attended Boyd Public School. He resided in Boyd all his life. He enjoyed working for farmers in the spring and fall. He enjoyed cutting the blocks for the quilts that were made for the church. Vincent passed away on Monday evening, March 16, 2009, at Luther Haven Home in Montevideo, Minnesota, at the age of 66 years and 3 months. He is survived by his two sisters: Carol (Larry) Strand of Boyd and Anita (Tom) Leger of Montevideo; and sister-in-law Kathy Erickson of Morris, Minnesota. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dennis. Blessed be his memory.
