Verna O. Pfarr was born July 1, 1931, near Clarkfield, Minnesota, to Henry and Agnes (Sorenson) Holum. She was baptized and confirmed at Bergen Lutheran Church. Verna married Floyd Pfarr on December 3, 1948. They lived in Cottonwood, Minnesota, many years where she worked for the newspaper as a typesetter. They moved to Tracy, Minnesota, about three years ago where she was residing at the time of her death. She passed away February 24, 2007, at the Granite Falls Municipal Hospital at the age of 75 years. She is survived by her husband Floyd of Tracy and her children: Kenneth (and Julie) Pfarr of Prior Lake, Minnesota, Cheryl (and Carlton) Jokstad of Tracy, Richard (and Kim) of Salem, Oregon, Lynnette McCullough of Cottonwood, Barbara (and Jay) Rogge of Hanley Falls, Minnesota; and grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Anna Marie, her parents and sisters and brothers.
