Trudie Dahl was born February 2, 1887, to Alfin and Julia (Otterson) Nelson, in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. She passed away at Community Health Center Boarding Care Home of Two Harbors, Minnesota, on May 5, 1979, at age of 92 years. Trudie had been a Two Harbors resident for the past 24 years. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Two Harbors. She was preceded in death by a son, Arden in 1971, and her husband, Gerhard, in 1941. Mrs. Dahl is survived by one son, Wayne Dahl, Two Harbors; one daughter, Mrs. Russell (Shirley) Nelson, Two Harbors; two sisters: Mrs. Cora Hein, Excelsior, Minnesota, and Mrs. Oscar (Alpha) Eckhardt, Boyd, Minnesota; and five grandchildren.
