IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tony G.
Clemetson
August 2, 1882 – October 17, 1950
Tony Clemetson, son of Charles and Hattie (Hagen) Clemetson, was born August 2nd, 1882, at New Rome, Adams County, Wisconsin. He was baptized at Arkdale, Wisconsin. When he was about 13 years old, he came with the Pete Hagen family to the Hazel Run community. He stayed at the Ole Forbord home for about four years and was confirmed in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. On December 27, 1906, he was united in marriage to Mabel Isaacs. This union was blessed with two children: Clayton and Alta (Mrs. Andrew Anderson). Mr. Clemetson died October 17, 1950, at his Normania Township home, at the age of 68 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters: Nellie (Mrs. Henry Olson), Minnie (Mrs. Ted Nelson) and Hattie (Mrs. Enequist). His passing is mourned by his beloved wife, son and daughter; five grandchildren: Patricia, Warren and Harriet Clemetson and Eleanor and Janet Anderson, and two brothers: Clarence of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Elmer of Chicago, Illinois; and by a host of other relatives and friends. A precious one from us has gone, A voice we loved is stilled; A place is vacant in our home, Which never can be filled. God in His wisdom has recalled, The boon his love had given, And though the body slumbers here, The soul is safe in heaven.
