Todd Michael Sawatzke Todd was born July 13, 1967, in Duluth, Minnesota, to parents Ronald and Beverly (Wyandt) Sawatzke. He was raised in Finlayson, Minnesota, attending and graduating from Finlayson High School in 1986. The last few years of his life he led a quiet and happy life in Boyd, Minnesota. He will be greatly missed by many friends and family. Todd passed away peacefully on Monday, January 28, 2013 at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, at the age of 45 years, 6 months and 15 days. He is survived by his son, David (Amber) of Sturgeon Lake, Minnesota; his father, Ronald Sawatzke of Boyd, Minnesota; mother, Beverly Sawatzke (Richard Hoadley) of Finlayson, Minnesota; brother, Douglas of Finlayson, Minnesota; sister, Heidi LaPage (Jerrie) of Clayton, Wisconsin; and sister, Shelly Goodman (Dave) of Castle Rock, Colorado. He is also survived by an extended family of step-brothers and sisters as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step-mother and friend, Neila Sawatzke.
