Titlof Olai Jorgenson, the son of Sophie Jorgenson was born in Sandnes Township on September 9, 1878. He was baptized at the Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church on October 6, 1978 by Rev. Knut Thostenson, and was confirmed at the same congregation in 1893 by Rev. Knut Thorstenson. Olai Jorgenson entered the occupation of meat marketing in Bristol, South Dakota, where he met Eleanor Hapsch and was united with her in marriage at Britten, South Dakota, in 1915. To this union God added his blessing of a daughter Sophie and a son Truman. In 1924 he returned to Hanley Falls where he made his home, continuing in the same occupation until 1960 when he entered the Clarkfield Nursing Home. Olai Jorgenson had been in good health until the past year and on the evening of July 23, 1964, he passed from this life at the age of 85 years. Olai Jorgenson was peceded in death by his wife, Eleanor, and by his infant son Truman. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Sophie Olson of Hanley Falls, Minnesota. IN MEMORY OF T.
