Tilla Hardy was born August 4, 1867, in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, the daughter of Tennes and Ane (Serikstad) Hanson. She was united in marriage to John Hardy. They were the parents of one son, Jerry. Mrs. Hardy died Monday night, September 18, 1950, at the Madison Rest Home, Madison, Minnesota, at the age of 83 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1929, and her son, Jerry in 1932.
