Mrs. Tilda Reishus died Friday, November 9, 1984, at the Willmar Hospital in Willmar, Minnesota. She was 89. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 13, 1984, at the St. Lucas Lutheran Church of Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, with Pastor John T. Christianson officiating. Organist was Mrs. lone Knudson with music by Henry Broughton. Casket Bearers were Jerry Reishus, John Reishus, Dale Reishus, Dean Wendschuh, Murl Erickson and Kenneth Olson. Final Resting Place is the St. Lucas Church Cemetery, Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. She was born February 1, 1895, to Gudmund and Lena (Thorvilson) Gjervold in Lake Mills, lowa. The family moved to Cottonwood where she met and married Edward Reishus. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two children, Doris and Irving. Survivors include one son, Orin of Aurora, Colorado; daughter-in-law, Naomi; one sister, Inez Hoiland of Cottonwood, Minnesota; three brothers, Arthur and William Gjervold both of Moorhead, Minnesota, and Albert of San Marcos, California; and four grandchildren.
