Thorval Wesley Lynne was born August 10, 1925, to Arden and Esther (Anderson) Lynne in Clarkfield, Minnesota. He attended Clarkfield Public Schools, graduating in 1943. He then entered the U. S. Navy and served until 1946. Wes married Blanche Hennen June 12, 1949, in Boyd, Minnesota. To this union were born four daughters: Barbara, Nancy, Jan and Ann. After working several years in his parents grocery business in Clarkfield, Wes went to work for the U. S. Postal Service in 1965. He served as Postmaster in Clarkfield from August of 1965 until the time of his death. Surviving Wesley are his wife, Blanche; three daughters: Barbara (Mrs. Rodney Bruflat of Clarkfield), Nancy (Mrs. Phil Sturlaugson of Phoenix, Arizona); and Jan (Mrs. Timothy Falkum of Gaylord, Minnesota); his mother, Esther; three brothers, Arden, Jr. of Clarkfield, Richard of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, Stanley of Ortonville, Minnesota; three sisters, Mary (Mrs. John Solien) of Aitkin, Minnesota, Margaret (Mrs. Robert Weingartner of Denver, Colorado), Elizabeth (Mrs. Harry Nordwick of Salinas, California); and two grandchildren, Todd and Kelly Bruflat. He was preceded in death by a brother Ralph; his father, Arden, Sr. and a daughter, Ann. Blessed be his memory! IN MEMORY OF T.
