Thora Erickson, the daughter of Erik and Borghild (Danielson) Erickson was born at Vikedahl, Norway, on February 18, 1890. She was baptized at the Lutheran Church of Vikedahl on April 6, 1890, and confirmed at the same congregation on October 16, 1904. She immigrated to America about 1912 with her brother, Johannes, and was engaged in the occupation of housekeeping for many years. During the past few years, she took residence in the Redwood Falls and Clarkfield Nursing Homes. On the evening of May 10, 1965, she passed from this life at the Clarkfield Nursing Home at the age of 75 years. She was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers: Valborg and Gurie, Daniel, Johannes, John and Erick. One brother, Burt Erickson of Minneapolis and and sister, Maria Aasland of Stavanga, Norway, and a number of nieces and nephews survive.
