Thomas William Sharkey was born Wednesday, March 6, 1957, to William and Wanda Loris (Granell) Sharkey. He was baptized the same morning. Everything possible was done by attending doctors, Niazi and Borgerson, and the hospital staff, but he passed away Thursday, March 7, 1957. Funeral services were held Friday morning, March 8, 1957, at the Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church in Hanley Falls, Minnesota, with Pastor A.M. Hegre officiating. Clarkfied Methodist Pastor, John Nymark, read the 23rd Psalm and led in prayer. Rev. Hegre sang a solo. Interment was in East Yellow Medicine Lutheran Cemetery, Hanley Falls, Minnesota. Besides his parents, baby Thomas leaves to mourn his early departure, his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Granell; his paternal grandparents, the Harland Sharkeys of Hanley Falls; and many aunts, uncles and cousins, together with maternal and paternal great grandparents.
