Theressa Alvilda (Vold) Dyrdahl was born October 11, 1903, at Hazel Run, Minnesota, to parents Peter and Hilda (Johnson) Vold. She was baptized in 1903 at Hazel Run and confirmed in 1918. Theressa was united in marriage to Albin Dyrdahl on April 3, 1932. They lived in the Hazel Run area their entire life. Theressa loved to cook and bake. She was a lifelong member of Hazel Run Lutheran Church. Theressa was a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center for the past 16 years. She passed away at the Care Center on Friday, February 1, 2002, at the age of 98 years, 3 months and 21 days. She is survived by her son Dennis and wife Kathryn of Hazel Run and grandchildren: Pam (and Greg) Rogge of Glenwood, Minnesota, Alan (and Nancy) Dyrdahl of Hazel Run, Minnesota, and Randy (and Sheila) Dyrdahl of Clarkfield, Minnesota. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; three step grandchildren: Beth, James (and Lora) and Nathan Schmidt; sister Esther Jacobson; brother-in-law Clifford (and Jeanette) Dyrdahl; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Albin; three infant children; brothers John and Leonard; sister Hilma; and daughter-in-law Sharon Dyrdahl. Blessed be her memory.
