Thelma Helena Jorgenson was born March 6, 1902, to Elias and Helena (Brekke) Jorgenson, rural Boyd, Minnesota. She was one of four daughters and ten sons born to her parents. She was confirmed on July 2, 1916, by the Reverend E.G. Eid. Thelma received her Grammar School Certificate from Boyd Public School on May 29, 1918. Thelma was a seamstress, Sunday School teacher, and ladies aid member. She worked at the Clarkfield Care Center. Thelma entered the Clarkfield Care Center in November 1989. She died on Sunday, December 13, 1992, at the age of 90 years. Thelma is survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and all of her brothers and sisters.
