Obituary

Mrs. Thea Josephine Berg was born of the parents Hans and Herberg (Swenson) Nodshilder, August 12, 1891, in Lisbon Township, near Clarkfield, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed in the Bergen Lutheran Church by Rev. Fjelstad. On November 11, 1918, she was united in marriage to Mr. Hardy Berg. To this union two children were born, namely Telford of Clarkfield and Harriet (Mrs. Kenneth Gebers) of Quincy, Washington. She passed away August 17, 1957, at the Clarkfield Community Hospital, Clarkfield, Minnesota, at the age of 66 years and five days. Her husband preceded her in death, February 6, 1946. She leaves to mourn her sudden departure her two children, Telford and Harriet, her daughter-in- law and son-in-law; seven grandchildren and two sisters, namely, Mrs. Mont Anderson and Mrs. Oscar Ostenson of Montevideo, Minnesota; two brothers, Ingval of Montevideo and John of Clarkfield; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Deceased was a member of the Friendship Ladies Aid and a member of the Spring Creek Lutheran Church. She lived most of her life on the farm south of Clarkfield. She will be sadly missed as she was a kind and thoughtful mother and a loving grandmother. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
