Teri Marie (Schweer) McCausland July 26, 1947 ~ November 28, 2013 Teri Marie (Schweer) McCausland died peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 28, 2013. She was born on July 26, 1947, to parents Berneice (Johnson) and Donald Schweer in Mankato, Minnesota. She graduated from Clarkfield High School in 1965. In 1981, Teri graduated from Southwest State University with a B.S. degree in Public Relations, Magna Cum Laude. She traveled the world. Her career focused on mass communications; from teaching English in Japan to managing the public access channel in Marshall, Minnesota, but her greatest joy in life was her family. Teri was enchanted with life and her family was her epicenter. She took enormous pride in her family's strengths and individual personalities, she enjoyed sharing their accomplishments. Teri loved socializing and could strike up a conversation with anyone. Teri was a free artistic spirit who delighted in making unique craft creations. She loved to knit, sew, craft and cook. She was very generous and took great pleasure in making one-of-a-kind homemade gifts. She was a talented singer who performed in musicals throughout the community. She loved spending her summers at the lake cabin relaxing while visiting friends and family. It was where the family gathered to share memories and to create new ones. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Brian Schweer. She is survived by her husband, Tom McCausland; children: Pati (Shane) Marquart, Michael (Jackie) McCausland and Casey (Gwen) McCausland; her grandchildren: Cameron Faller, Murrin McCausland, Duncan Marquart, Oliver Marquart and Liam McCausland; brothers: Craig (Terri) Schweer and Todd Schweer; sisters-in-law: Bette Schweer and Jeanine Schweer; nieces and nephews: Graham Schweer, Erica Schweer, Katie Weckwerth, Benjamin Schweer, Isaac Schweer and Claire Schweer.
