Svea Ingeborg Nelson was born in Sweden on September 11, 1908, to Gustav and Brita (Sjoberg) Sjoblom. As an infant she moved with her family to Duluth, Minnesota, and later to International Falls, Minnesota. For a short time she worked in Chicago, Illinois, where she met and married Albin G. Nelson. They later moved to Clarkfield, Minnesota. Mrs. Nelson passed away July 29, 1980, at Community Memorial Hospital, Clarkfield, Minnesota, at the age of 71 years. Survivors are her children: Betty Jensen, Mary Sampson and Loretta Thompson, all of International Falls, Minnesota, Charles and Albin Nelson of Clarkfield, Minnesota, and Lorraine Olson of Oakdale, Minnesota; 12 grandchildren; four great grandsons; a sister, Signe Skoglund; and a brother, Sigurd Sjoblom of International Falls, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albin, in 1972, her parents and two brothers. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
