Sulvan E. Saby passed away on July 24, 1974, at the Metropolitan Medical Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was born on January 21, 1899, to Edward and Anna (Iverson) Saby. He was baptized and confirmed at the Rock Valley Church and was a member of the Hazel Run Lutheran Church for 28 years. He married Bernice Lecy on January 20, 1926, at Granite Falls, Minnesota. They farmed in the Hanley Falls and Granite Falls area until he retired in 1971. He is survived by his wife, Bernice; two daughters: Judith (Mrs. Leslie Wilson) of Hazel Run and Berdella (Mrs. Arnold Antonson) of Granite Falls; three sons: Archie of Baltimore, Maryland, Marvin of Clarkfield, and Odin of Minneapolis; and brothers and sisters: Mrs. Josie Hegna, Mildred, Albert, Palmer and Willie of Granite Falls, Mrs. Ethel Hengel, Lake Lillian, Minnesota, Ole of Watson, Minnesota, and Joseph of St. Paul, Minnesota; 13 grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by one son, Stanley, his parents, and one brother, Elmer. IN MEMORY OF S. E.
