Stella Marie Severts passed away early Sunday morning, April 28, 1974, at the age of 74 years. Funeral services were held at Clarkfield Lutheran Church on Wednesday, May 1, 1974, Rev. Gordon Trelstad officiating. Mrs. Ron Donner was organist and Greg Swanson soloist. Casket Bearers were Harold Berg, Herbert Christensen, Dennis Jorgenson, Glen Jorgenson, Laurence Orres and Donald Quesnell. Burial was at Clarkfield Lutheran Cemetery. Born March 17, 1900, to Martin and Martha (Severson) Severts, Stella Severts was baptized by Rev. Farseth and confirmed by Rev. O.F. Storasslie on May 30, 1915. She attended grade school in District 88 and graduated with the Clarkfield High School Class of 1920. She spent most of her life in this community. Survivors include one sister, Martha, two brothers, Edwin and Newland, all of this community. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Clarence who passed away in 1958.
