Sophie Elizabeth Olson, the daughter of Titlof and Eleanor Jorgenson, was born January 1, 1917, at Bristol, South Dakota. She was baptized on May 20, 1917, at the Lutheran church in Bristol by Rev. O.O. Hafstad. In her early youth, she moved with her family to Hanley Falls, Minnesota, where at the Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church, in 1934, she confirmed her faith before the Rev. Alf Jorgenson. On September 28, 1940, she was united in marriage to Clarence Olson at Granite Falls, Minnesota, by Rev. O.J. Erickson. About a month ago, she entered the Willmar Hospital, Willmar, Minnesota, and while a patient there, suffered a heart attack. She reached the age of 49 years. She was preceded in death by her brother, Truman, and her parents. She is survived by her husband, Clarence Olson of Hanley Falls. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
