Sharon Kay (Lundy) Anderson was born on August 11, 1944, in Clarkfield, Minnesota, to Jaurold and Avis (Holm) Lundy. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She graduated from Hanley Falls High School, Hanley Falls, Minnesota, in 1962. She attended one year of business school in Mankato, Minnesota. She lived in the Twin Cities while working for Mercy Hospital. On December 6, 1969, she was united in marriage to David Anderson at the Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church. They lived in rural Granite Falls, Minnesota, where she was a homemaker. In recent years she worked part time at Granite Drug. She was a long time member of Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church and was active in its women's groups. She enjoyed reading, gardening, playing pinochle, being near water and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by husband David of Granite Falls; two sons: Kent and wife Pam from Orange City, Iowa and Clark and wife Lori of Granite Falls; her parents Jaurold and Avis Lundy of Granite Falls; and mother-in-law Lela Anderson of Granite Falls. Sharon is also survived by aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and father-in-law. Sharon Anderson died on Friday, January 7, 2005, at her home in Granite Falls. Blessed be her memory.
