Severin Hanson was born in Norway, November 23, 1882, to Ole and Bertha Hanson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and came to America as a young child. He spent most of his life around Clarkfield working on different farms as a laborer. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and two brothers, his wife, one son and a daughter. For the past number of years he has been a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center and passed away Monday, December 8, 1975. Funeral services were held for Mr. Hanson December 11, 1975, at the Lynner Funeral Home at Clarkfield, with Pastor Gordon Trelstad officiating. Casket Bearers were Glen and George Hanson and Curtis and James Lynner.
