Mrs. Sena Maursetter was born at Benson, Minnesota, the daughter of Lars and Gurina (Nielson) Harvey, July 28, 1874. She attended school and worked in the Benson vicinity until her marriage to Rasmus J. Maursetter in 1898 at Benson. Except for one year residence in St. Cloud, Minnesota, the couple made their home on the Maursetter homestead north of Clarkfield until 1927. At that time they built a home in Clarkfield where she has since resided. Five children were born to this union, namely, Jergon, Gifford and Berkie of Clarkfield, Rudella (Mrs. Orville Jacobson) of Grove City, Minnesota and Einslee of Montevideo, Minnesota. Mr. Maursetter passed away in September of 1931. Besides her children, Mrs. Maursetter is survived by eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Josephine (Mrs. Peter Campbell) of Deerwood, Minnesota, and Clara (Mrs. Adolph Cornelius) of Benson, Minnesota; and one brother, Henry Harvey, also of Benson. Mrs. Maursetter was taken ill with a heart ailment about two years ago and spent many weeks in the hospital at various times. She passed away at the Clarkfield Community Hospital, Saturday evening, October 23rd, 1954, having reached the age of eighty years and three months. Mrs. Maursetter's primary interest was her family and in her better years she was also active in church work and civic affairs. She was a life member of the W.C.T.U. She will always be remembered as a kind and loving mother. Blessed be her memory.
