Sandra K. (Johnson) Odden (January 7, 1942 - October 19, 2007) Sandra K. (Johnson) Odden was born on January 7, 1942, at Granite Falls, Minnesota, to parents Louis and Laura (Ueland) Johnson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith. She graduated from Granite Falls High School in 1960. Sandra married Orville "Bob" Odden in Brookings, South Dakota, on August 11, 1961. They were the parents of two children: Cindy and Louie. Orville passed away in August of 1993. Sandra lived in Hazel Run, Minnesota, and then moved to Granite Falls, Minnesota, following the death of her husband. Sandy had several jobs in her life. She worked at Plews in Granite Falls, managed 'Groceries Plus' in Granite Falls, worked at the Clarkfield Care Center, Family Foods in Montevideo, Minnesota, and Firefly Creek Casino at Granite Falls. She enjoyed creating hand crafted arts. She was a member of the Hazel Run Lutheran Church Sandra passed away on Friday, October 19, 2007, at the Granite Falls Hospital at the age of 65 years, 9 months, and 12 days. She is survived by her children: daughter Cindy (and Gary) Hendrickx of Appleton, Minnesota; son Louie Odden of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and grandson Mac Hendrickx of Appleton. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
