Samson Nodshilder was born of parents Hans and Herbord (Swenson) Nodshilder on the homestead in Lisbon Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, December 5th, 1893. He taught school at various points and later returned to the farm, which he managed until his death. Deceased is survived by two brothers, Ingval and John, and four sisters: Mrs. Oscar Ostensoe and Mrs. Mont Anderson of Montevideo, Minnesota, Mrs. Thea Berg of Clarkfield, Minnesota, and Hannah of Minneapolis. His parents and three brothers preceded him in death.
