Rosalee Savoie November 24, 1938 - May 17, 2016 Rosalee LaVonne (Granell) Savoie was born November 24, 1938, in Clarkfield, Minnesota, to Lee and Evelyn (Johnson) Granell. She grew up in Clarkfield and graduated from Clarkfield High School in 1956. On June 14, 1957, Rosalee was united in marriage to Charles Savoie, Sr. Together, they lived in the Clarkfield area until settling in Hanley Falls in 1968. They moved to Marshall in 2008. Rosalee was a wonderful homemaker and also did daycare for several years. She loved watching birds, crocheting, doing embroidery, and enjoyed camping. She is survived by her two children: Charles (Patricia) Savoie, Jr. of Hanley Falls, Minnesota, and Colette (James) Rosenau of Echo, Minnesota; 13 grandchildren: 21 great-grandchildren; son-in- law, Dale Lundberg of Ivanhoe, Minnesota; a brother, Larry Granell of Hanley Falls, Minnesota; sisters: Darlene (Glen) Oftedahl of Marshall, Minnesota, and Marilyn (Dean) Baker of Hemet, California; and a brother-in-law, Bill Sharkey of Hanley Falls, Minnesota. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Charles Savoie, Sr. in February of 2016; infant son, Carlton in 1964; a daughter, Charmaine Lundberg in 2013; a son-in-law, Arlyn Shemon; a brother, Lee Wayne Granell; and sisters: Dallas Dayton and Wanda Sharkey. Rosalee Savoie died May 17, 2016, at Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall at the age of 77. May her memory be blessed.
