Roger Dwight Lancaster, 48, of Hazel Run, Minnesota, died Wednesday, December 18, 1985, at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 20, 1985, at the Hazel Run Lutheran Church with Pastor William Klavetter officiating. Final Resting Place is the Hazel Run Lutheran Cemetery. Roger was born January 17, 1937, at Graceville, Minnesota, to William and Ethel (Hanson) Lancaster. Mrs. Duane Jacobson was the organist at the service. Soloist was Loren Norgaard. Casket Bearers were David Cornelius, Duane Jacobson, Jerome Koenings, Arvid Melbostad, Oscar Stangeland and James Varpness. He is survived by his children, Kathy, Brian, Kari, Glenn, Kyle and Andy; and brothers Herman Lancaster of Verndale, Minnesota, Roy Lancaster of Clarkfield, Minnesota, and Ralph Lancaster of Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
