Robert Frank Roggenbuck was born in Rosen, Minnesota, on January 12, 1893, to Frank and Marie (Palatski) Roggenbuck, where he was also baptized and confirmed. Robert farmed his entire life in the Rosen, Benson, and Boyd, Minnesota areas until September of 1980, when he entered the Appleton Nursing Home. Robert passed away at the Nursing Home on January 29, 1984, at the age of 91. Robert was prededed in death by his parents, one brother, Frank, and one sister, Anna. He is survived by three brothers, Paul of Willmar, Minnesota, John of Appleton, Minnesota, and William of Boyd, Minnesota; also one sister, Mary of Boyd, Minnesota. Mass of Christian Burial was held for Robert at the St. Leo Catholic Church in St. Leo, Minnesota, on February 1, 1984, at 10:30 a.m. with Father John Gleason of St. Leo and Father Merle Monnans of Appleton concelebrating the Mass. Congregational Hymns were sung. Casket Bearers were Gilbert, Walter, and Lawrence Lanners, Leo Eckhardt, Greg Koepp, and Walter Roske.
