Robert Lyle Mikelson was born December 30, 1947, in Clarkfield, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, the son of Lyle C. Mikelson and Doris Hanson Mikelson. He died tragically in a truck-automobile accident December 20, 1950, in Friendship Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, at the age of two years, eleven months and twenty days. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Mikelson; maternal grandparents, Henry and Pearl Hanson and paternal grandparents, Arthur and Maybelle Mikelson.
