Robert L. Galatovich was born June 30,1936, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to parents Anthony and Loretta (Beck) Galatovich. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Andrew's Catholic Church of St. Paul and attended school in St. Paul. Robert married Dolores Ann Mormann in January of 1964. They were the parents of three daughters: Lisa, Robin, and Dawn. The family lived in Circle Pines, Minnesota, until the death of Dolores in 1972. At that time the family moved to Lino Lakes, Blaine, and St. Paul. Bob spent much of that time helping his mother. He worked several jobs including General Electric and delivering papers for the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Due to health problems, he retired at the age of 60. He loved animals, fishing and making models. Robert moved to Clarkfield, Minnesota, in August of 2003 and made his home at Valhalla Apartments. He became a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center in May of 2004, where he passed away Sunday, June 6, 2004, at the age of 67 years, 11 months and 7 days. He is survived by his daughters: Lisa Johnson of St. Paul, Robin (and Larry) Johnke of Clarkfield, and Dawn (and Jeff) Kirkland of Haywood, Wisconsin. He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Rhiannon Johnson, Ashley, Elizabeth and Robert Kirkland, Stephen Johnke, and Rachael Gore; brothers Anthony (and Mary) Galatovich, William Galatovich, and Jack Galatovich; sister Loretta (and Curt) Hensch; sister-in-law Barb (and David) Case; nieces; nephews; and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Dolores; brother Edward; sisters-in-law Pat and Cynthia Galatovich; and several nieces and nephews. Blessed be his memory.
