Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon, December 6, 1966, 1:30 p.m., at the Lynner Funeral Home, Clarkfield, Minnesota, for Robert Christie of Canby, Minnesota. Mr. Christie passed away Saturday evening, December 3, 1966, at the Clarkfield Nursing Home where he had been a resident the past four years, at the age of 83 years. He was born July 16, 1883, in Minnesota, the son of James S. and Nancy (Doyle) Christie. His life occupation was farming. Burial was at the family lot at Antelope Hills Cemetery, Hammer Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, with Rev. James McWaters officiating. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
