Rick Hilden was born April 12, 1952, at Montevideo, Minnesota, to parents Harvey and Ione (Winge) Hilden. He was baptized on August 7, 1952, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo and confirmed on May 14, 1967, at Our Savior's. He graduated from Montevideo High School and then attended Anoka Community College and Hennepin Technical College. Rick and Debra Hegna were companions for 32 years. They married on March 15th, 2012. Rick was the father of Elliot Hilden and he and Deb were the parents of two great nieces: Lila Blue and Jasmyne Jacobsen. Rick was artistic and creative his whole life. He could turn rustic things into ART. He loved the peace and quiet of River Road. He was a true artist and also jeweler. Rick and Deb moved to Clarkfield about four years ago. He passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital at the age of 60 years and 3 months. He is survived by his wife, Debra and daughters, Lila and Jasmyne of Clarkfield, and son, Elliot Hilden of Montevideo. He is also survived by his father, Harvey, sisters: Pam (Mel) Haugerud and Sue (Garret) Winter and brother, James Hilden all of Montevideo. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ione Hilden, son, Ricky Hilden and his grandparents. Blessed be his memory. In Loving Memory of Rick C.
