Richard Ueland was born January 1, 1892, in Sandnes Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, the son of Reinert R. Ueland and Kari (Listul) Ueland. He passed away December 12, 1957, at his Cottonwood, Minnesota home at the age of 65 years. Survivors include his wife, Marie Josephine (Olson) Ueland, and four children at home.
