Obituary

Richard O. Stueland was born July 7, 1908, in Iowa to Hans and Minnie (Michelson) Stueland. They moved to Boyd, Minnesota, in the spring of 1913, and in 1917 moved to a farm in Stony Run Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. In 1942 he was inducted into the Armed Forces and served until October 1945 in the South Pacific when he returned to farming. On February 22, 1964, he married Bergliot Hauge and they resided in Clarkfield, Minnesota. Richard continued to farm until his retirement in 1973. He is survived, by his wife Bergliot; two brothers , Earl Stueland of Granite Falls, Minnesota, and Edwin Stueland of Dubuque, Iowa; two sisters: Ruby Oxtra of Elbow Lake, Minnesota, and Evelyn Kruger of Willmar, Minnesota. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers: Arthur, Clifford, Harold and Reuben. Blessed be his memory! IN MEMORY OF RICHARD O.
