Richard Allen Schueller (April 27, 1951 ~ June 20, 2010) Richard Allen Schueller was born on April 27, 1951, in Echo, Minnesota. He was the youngest son of Gerald and Betty (Jensen) Schueller. Shortly after he was born, Gerry and Betty moved their three sons to St. Louis, Missouri. While living in Missouri the family lived in 30 different county seats, moving each month to a new town. The family returned to Minnesota three years later and settled into Milroy. Rick attended school in Milroy where he graduated in 1969. On January 27, 1972, he was married to Lucille Dallmann and the marriage was blessed with two children, Jay Allen and Gerald John. The family lived in Vesta, Minnesota, where they owned and operated a grocery store for a number of years. Over the years, Rick worked for the Marshall Hospital, Swift Turkey and finally settled in at Southwest State University where he worked until last year. In 2000, Rick was remarried to Barb Harvey and the two lived in their home in Clarkfield. Rick enjoyed visiting with friends, fishing, playing guitar and painting. Rick passed away on June 20, 2010, at his home at the age of 59 years. He is survived by his wife Barb Harvey Schueller of Clarkfield, Minnesota; son Jay Schueller and wife Rebecca of Pine City, Minnesota, and their children Emily and Gavin; son Gerald Schueller and wife Jennifer of Ramsey, Minnesota, and their children Peyton and Katelyn; stepchildren Sarah Harvey and Nick Harvey of Clarkfield, Minnesota; sister-in-law Kathy Waters of Mason City, Iowa; and niece Victoria Giese of Mason City, Iowa, and her sons Devin and Dillon. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Betty Schueller Brandt; brothers Gerald Jr. and John Douglas.
