Ray H. Swenson was born April 10, 1915, the son of Swen and Mathilda (Anderson) Swenson, on the farm near Clarkfield, Lisbon Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. He was baptized June 11, 1916, at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church by Pastor O.T. Storaasli and confirmed by Rev. J.E.H. Akre in 1931. He resided on the same farm all his life. Mr. Swenson passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 7, 1968, in Lac qui Parle County, Minnesota, at the age of 53 years. Surviving are five sisters: Agnes and Fern (Mrs. Roland Zacharias) of Minneapolis, Lillian (Mrs. Fritz Morris) and Myrtle (Mrs. Melbourne Roisen) of Montevideo, and Ann (Mrs. Carl Richter) of Canby; and one brother, Alfred; fifteen nephews and nieces and 26 great nephews and nieces. Preceding him in death were his parents, one brother, Palmer, and one sister, Verna. IN MEMORY OF RAY H.
