Prentice Henry Drummond was born July 6, 1874, at McGregory, Iowa, the son of David Drummond and Julia (Shoboldt) Drummond. He was educated in the public schools at LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and St. John's Military Academy in St. Paul, Minnesota. On January 30, 1904, he was united in marriage to Emma Lees, who passed away in Boyd, May 27, 1943. On November 20, 1947, he married Mrs. Alice Drummond, who survives him. Mr. Drummond spent most of his life in the lumber business in North Dakota and Minnesota, with the exception of a few later years spent in farming. He retired in 1943 and moved to Boyd where he resided until death. Besides his widow, he is survived by two sisters, Helen (Mrs. Joseph A. Lawrence) of Racine, Wisconsin, and Mary (Mrs. Earl Blossom) of New York, New York.
